ONVIF support on Marmitek cameras
Marmitek, specialist in the field of affordable smart home products, announces that the company's smart cameras now offer ONVIF support. ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) ensures that Marmitek cameras are easy to install and integrate into other camera systems, which significantly increases the compatibility of the cameras. ONVIF is a globally standardized protocol for the interoperability and communication of IP cameras and IP software regardless of brand, and as long as they support ONVIF.
Owners or administrators of (security) systems with IP cameras, NAS servers and/or NVRs can easily add Marmitek cameras and be sure that they communicate properly with other products that use the ONVIF protocol. A good example of a system that supports ONVIF is Surveillance Station 8.2.8 from Synology, a comprehensive NVR (network video recorder) system for surveillance via IP cameras.
Special computer software is also available that makes it possible to view and record live images from the Marmitek cameras.
