With this HDMI switch matrix 4K, you can connect 4 HDMI devices to 2 different TVs. Watch a different or the same image on 2 screens independently of each other. The remote control is used to switch between connected HDMI sources. The Connect 642 Pro supports resolutions up to 4K60 (4:4:4) and HDCP 2.2 and is therefore suitable for connection to your Ultra HD TV(s).

Does the image quality deteriorate if I place the Connect 642 Pro in between?
No, with the Connect 642 Pro, you are guaranteed the same image and audio quality.
Do both outputs receive the same source by default?
No, with this matrix switch, you can independently choose which source is played on which output. It is also possible to play the same source on both outputs.
A 4K TV is connected to the first output and a 1080p TV to the second output. Can I still watch content in 4K on the first screen?
Yes, this is possible. The Connect 642 Pro has a downscaling function. This function ensures that images with a too-high resolution are adjusted for a lower resolution screen. This way, you can continue to enjoy 4K quality images on the first screen.
Can I still use my Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 with the Connect 642 Pro?
It is possible to use these devices with the Connect 642 Pro. However, there are a few functions that cannot be used in combination with the matrix switch. For example, functions such as VRR, ALLM and 4K@120hz frame rate cannot be used when the device is connected to the Connect 642 Pro.
No (or poor) image and sound
If you experience poor or no image after connecting, try to recover the problem by connecting the devices one at the time to your screen (TV, monitor or projector). This way you can determine whether the problem lies with the HDMI sources, the HDMI cables, this product or the screen. HDMI devices which are not tested and certified by ATC (Authorized Test Centers) can cause image and sound problems.
- Check if the power adapter is connected and plugged into the mains.
- Only use High Speed HDMI certified cables for the best picture and sound quality.
- Do not use HDMI cables that are longer than specified in the technical data.
- Both the HDMI source and your screen have to support HDMI fully.
- Check whether your HDMI sources, DVI device and screen support the copy protection HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection).
Incorrect 3D display.
- Ensure that the HDMI source is set to display 3D and/or it is set to automatic.
- Both the HDMI source and your HD screen should support the same 3D formats.
- Ensure that 3D is displayed correctly by connecting the HDMI source directly to the HD display with an HDMI cable.
